How To Stop Time

Let's talk about everything.
Let's talk about how beautiful the weather is today or how to take over the world tomorrow.
I never know where it would lead us to but all I know is that I always enjoy the view.

Let's make some jokes and not laugh about them.
You can try to impress me with your old stories and I will say something nice.
I know, I know that they are hardly true; but that's fine. Everybody does that sometimes.

Let's discuss things that make our eyes pop.
It could be about your imaginative dream careers or about silly stories in my past.
Well, I think we just try hard to impress each other.

Now, to be a little snobbish, let's talk about ideas.
It doesn't have to be a big one, sometimes stupid ones excite me more though.
And boy, my eyes would pop like they want to come out!

Let's take a long walk together.
Talking about how people act in public and discuss them.
It is useless, I know. You'll stick with your ideas and I'll stick with mine.
But I never see it as a problem anyway.

I always enjoy it when we talk about whatever.
Whatever excites you, whatever excites me; better: whatever excites us.
I can end up crying a little, laughing, smiling ear to ear, or even being in silence.
And you will always end up saying something wise that would make me feel like a fool to be brave enough to throw a stupid joke before.

Or we can simply sit next to each other and do nothing.
It feels like time already starts to stop anyway.
